It is great to be able to post a photo of a quilt in progress and get opinions from you all, and it is rewarding to provide information to new quilters. Sometimes I've received advice that has taken a quilt in an entirely new direction. I love seeing photos of your quilts with dogs and children - they bring a smile to my face.

Continuing friendship with several dear members is my most thankful treasure!!
Eye candy every day when I see all the pictures of quilts made here.
Traveling the world from my chair at home with those who share their homes and world with us.
Tips, tricks, and tutorials freely shared.
The acceptance and lack of complaint/criticism/condemnation from members on this forum, that's the best!

You are all such a wonderful group of people who go out of your way to help those who are looking for help in learning our craft. You are there to give support to those who are having problems in their lives. You bring beauty by sharing your art and laughter by sharing your humor. It is a wonderful place to be and I am so happy I found it. Thank you all for being here and thank all of you who work so hard to bring it to us and keep it a good place to be,

I love this board because I know without all the things I have learned about machine piecing and quilting I would never have made any quilts. Now I am venturing into raw edge applique and freehand drawing my own items for applique. I constantly have new ideas for projects and it's all because when I come you folks open my eyes to all the possibilities. Thank you QB and everyone who shares on this board.

For me, this board has been a source of inspiration, education, encouragement, knowledge, reassurance, laughter and friendship. Every day I learn something new, see a project I'd like to do one day or find a link to a fabulous website. The amount I have learned in the past couple of months has been incredible.
I am so grateful to you all.

I am so grateful for the inspiration, answers to questions, and generosity of spirit I find here. Like a couple of others have said, I don't have any friends who quilt and my relatives live far away. On this board I can share the excitement of a new sewing machine and commiserate when we run out of a particular fabric. Now, I'm about to do some cyber-quilting today and post a question. :-)

Besides the wealth of information, tips, encouragement, inspiration, and fellowship, I have become friends with several members....one in a nearby town. The moderators are to be commended on how generous they are with their time and help. Everyone seems to be so willing to share their knowledge and experience. The day I discovered the QuiltingBoard was one of the best days of my life.
