Sometimes I look at dirty dishes in the sink and think "UGH - I hate washing them"

Then I remember that:

We have enough food - many people don't
We have fuel to cook it -
We have a place to eat food - our house is still standing
We are healthy enough so that we CAN eat -
Our digestive tracts process that food -

We are blessed.

How true! Thank you for the reminder. We so often fail to see the blessings in our daily walk of life. {smiles}

AND you have a place to wash those dishes in, and clean water to wash them with.

Thanks for your post. It's the sort of thing you can adapt to almost anything, even scrubbing the toilet (thankful that you have indoor plumbing, thankful that you have the physical ability to scrub it, etc.).

Thankful that one can still use a toilet -

I didn't know - until a friend of ours went on dialysis - that one can't pass urine when one's kidneys fail.

I forgot about water and sewage systems. Thank you for reminding me - - - more things taken for granted - - - until there is a problem with them.
