Someone will ask for what you are plannging on making. :) I was cutting some 1930's reproduction fabric with my Go! tumbler die to make a quilt for me. DD calls to tell me goodnight and they love me. :) Makes me melt!

Anyway, I asked her to be thinking about what kind of fabrics and quilt she wanted me to make for her Grandmothers-in-law for Mother's day. She said "I love the 1930's like you made me for Christmas! But not quite so big, just lap size." She didn't know what I was doing and I didn't tell her. LOL!

So, guess where my quilt is going? Yep, to the babies great-grandma's. DD is very lucky to have very loving in-laws, so it is an honor for her to ask me. And the grandbabies are lucky to have so many great-grandparents in good health--3 great-grandma's and 3 great-grandpa's who spoil them with lots of love.

I know, but we get so much joy from giving our quilts to others.

My DH asks, from time to time, when I'm gonna make a quilt for us. But nothing satisfies me more than making one for somebody else!

Sounds like you're of similar mind and heart.

I so miss having a large family. My husband and I have both lost so many family members due to poor health and age. You are blessed.
