What are some of the ways you hang your quilts?

I need them (wall hangings and full size and larger quilts) to hang on the wall but be easy to take down (when they sell!) The larger quilts will need to be folded at least in half if not in thirds for the space they will be in.

Thanks for any and all suggestions

Perhaps you could go to the office supply store and get bulldog clips.

use PANT hangers so they are easy to OPEN when people want to see the WHOLE quilt...
I use a photographers backdrop stand for hanging at least one large quilt, I use wooden clothes drying racks, garment racks, what ever works in the space I have..each show space is different..

If you're retailing quilts, display them properly, rather than with clips and pant hangers, etc. You'll find that it shows them off better to your customers.

YOu can do tiered quilt rods on the wall, so that a good part of one quilt shows with the next one in front. Just be sure to have the rods further from the wall, the lower on the wall they are. Think of an oversized towel bar that has more than one layer on it.

I hung mine on curtain rods. They are ful sized quilts, folded in half. They are easy to take down.

Thanks for the ideas. Yes, they will be in retail establishments so are thinking the curtain rod idea. I like the idea of being able to hang more than one with the tiered rods. Will give that a thought also.
