Has anyone ever found insects/bugs in fabric that was starched?

Never had that happen.
Desiderata (Max Ehrmann) - Walk placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
no, and i have some really old stuff
I've never found any bugs in my starched fabric. Even some I've had for several years. Hope I never do.
Me neither.... I think it depends on the humidity in your area also. The higher the humidity the more chance of getting bugs.
No bugs here!! And I am a starcher from way back!!
Nope never found bugs in my fabric, I do not think it is true that bugs will get into it, Not unless it has happened to someone here, Have never heard of it except on the internet.
Silverfish are the usual suspects....I have found them in old books (they love the glue in book bindings and also the paper), seen them in other people's linen closets, but so far not in mine.
No have never had that happen. I have heard that silver fish love stach though.
I think years ago it wasn't easy to keep bugs out of homes as it is now. I have never seen any bugs in my fabric, not even moths in my closet.
Got fabric?
