Has anyone seen the demo using Minkee fabrics?
#1
I just watched a tutorial from Missouri Quilt Co using Minkee fabrics and flannel backing to make a baby blankets. But then I looked on their website and saw the same fabrics layer cakes of animal fabrics and I can just see this in a throw or lap quilt.
To make a 50 x 80 quilt it takes two of their layer cakes at $22 each, plus shipping. Too expensive!
PLEASE talk me out of it with good reasons why I shouldn't. I have three UFO's and all kinds of stash laying around that I ought to work with. BUT--I can just feel it.
I don't need it!!!

You only have 3!!!  Gotta a ways to go!! I'm trying to work in UFO's with WIP right now. So far, only 1 UFO is getting any attention and I have 3 WIP going, 3 in design process and nothing getting done!!

I went back to order it and it was out of stock. I can't believe it. It took me all this time to decide what to do and now I can't get it. I send them an email asking if they would have it again. Geez!
I found other shops on line selling the fabric, but not the choice as Mo Quilt nicely packaged ready to go.
