Has anyone been the Los Angeles
http://www.fashiondistrict.org/ for fabric?
Is it worth the trip? I hear fabric is cheap but is it any good?

No I have not but looking at some of the descriptions I would love to see what Thousands of dollars for a yard of material looks like :)

havn't been to LA but have been to fasion district in NYC
Not much for quilters. All glitz and glitter and silky
Been some years but the quilt fabric I saw was Christmas big box quality and several seasons back and this seasons prices.

My friend has been down there to the fashion/fabric district in LA & she said it was more apparel fabric- not much for quilters.
