I clicked on this link but the photos have been removed. Does anyone know why?

I did a scalloped border on a double wedding ring quilt for my sister. My only advice is make a lot of bias binding before you begin. Scallops take more binding than straight bordered quilts. I would do it again for the right quilt but it is not a common practice on most of my quilts.

looks like that original post is Sept '09 ~ could be numous reasons, photobucket and other sites limit the amount of space they give you for free ~ I have noticed that pics that are uploaded to this site are gone from '08 & '09 posts too, I would imagine to conserve space.

We are blessed, very few forums like this exist that allow us to use their webspace to upload our pics. Most make you host externally (like webshots, photo bucket, etc)

I bought the quiltin a day scalloped ruler and followed the video on the Missouri quilt website and it went together very easily. I loved doing it and didn't have any problem with the bias binding and sewing it on but it is time consuming. Don't be afraid to try it.That is how we learn
