Default Has this ever happened to you?

DH: How's that quilt you're working on going? (What he really wanted to know was when would I be cleaning up, we're having company in a few days.)

Me: Which one?

DH: You're working on more than one?

Me: Yes. I'm making three from the same fabrics.

DH: Why?

Me: It's a long story...

DH: Ok.

Then he left the room. I guess he wasn't that interested or he lost all hope for a neat living room, dining room, etc.

It does sound vaguely familiar, but my DH is more likely to stick his head in the sewing room and ask, "Who is this one for?"

Mine just wants me to find stuff he has misplaced and it is usually something that is in plain sight .

LOL, so true!

My hubby dared to ask me when I was going to be done quilting, as in: not do it anymore! What a rube.

Since I longarm, my DH will ask "is that one of yours" before he says he likes it or not... When I am on sewing he will come into the sewing room and say " is that a new one?".. He is actually proud of my work and often points is out to friends...Love him

My hubby likes when I'm in my sewing cave, as gets to watch unlimited sport lol, because I have mobility issues and my cave upstairs, he regularly pops his head in to see if I need anything

My favorite is when he asks, "Who's THAT one for?" And when I say, "...just making it," he gets this puzzled look on his face and then turns away. I love it !
