I'm planning to visit my inlaws, and they have both Joanns and Hancock.
Which store should I visit, most reasonably priced

I think Hancocks has the better of the two quality wise. I just received a coupon/ad in the mail yesterday, keep your eyes peeled.

Why not hit both?!?! One may have a better bargain on one thing and one may have a better bargain on another. I wouldn't be able to sleep that night if I thought I missed out on a bargain

I would go to both. I agree, there are bargains at each store. They do not carry the same fabrics so you have to see all :-)

If I had to choose one I'd go to Hancock. Better service and prices in my opinion. I rarely go to Joanns anymore. But if you haven't been to either and have the opportunity you might want to check out both so you can form your own opinion.

Joann's fabric is getting horrible. I was able to pick up some Kaufman fabric at Hancock's for $5 a yard. Their Lil Miss line is really thick and nice as well.
