These are from wood puzzles

Thought they could be used for just about anything

I have a bunch of tole painting books that I used to use for scrapbook (paper) paper piecing.....that I think would make awesome applique patterns.....The only thing I would think would be hard to replicate is the actual shading.... In scrapbook (paper) paper piecing, you can use chalk and markers to shade.

with fabric, you can use markers, dyes, oil sticks, and other items too. Nancy Zieman and Natalie (can't remember her last name) do it all the time. They show how in their co-authored landscape books :D:D:D

I think all of these would make GREAT appliques :D:D:D

I have used my sons old block set as a pattern before but I love these shapes.
