I have a bunch of tole painting books that I used to use for scrapbook (paper) paper piecing.....that I think would make awesome applique patterns.....The only thing I would think would be hard to replicate is the actual shading.... In scrapbook (paper) paper piecing, you can use chalk and markers to shade.
