My suggestion and what I do if I have to have alot of different size cut pieces is I buy little containers from the dollar store and just put a note on each container as to the size and amount of pieces in each container. Sounds like a beautiful quilt and please share a picture of it when you finish.

I just ordered this quilt from Nancy's Notions. I'd spotted the pattern and kit at various sites but finally took the leap recently. She had the best price of $69. It hasn't arrived in the mail yet. I am excited! I don't have a design wall but I do have a guest room bed! I, too, appreciated everyone's suggestions. Wish me luck!

Onaemtnest: I recently finished the Over & Down Under quilt. It had been aging in my to do bin for a couple of years. It wasn't a quick quilt to make. After cutting all of the pieces, I labeled each color stack and laid them in order on my table. I sewed the squares together in vertical rows. The total piecing of the quilt top took me 3 days at a retreat. It is a beautiful quilt and I would do it again. By now you probably have yours finished. Hope you enjoyed the process.

Here is a video to help with organizing pieces, maybe it will help. Just a thought - if you cut off several selvages at a time like this lady did, you only need to turn the whole cutting mat around instead of each strip.
