That is going to be just beautiful! Great colors too. I keep changing my mind on which I prefer, as both look good. No help from me there...

Neither...I think a dark background would make those wild blocks just pop out........

That looks like it would be a fund quilt and I love the colors you picked out. I'm another purple lover! Thanks for sharing with us.

After you reduced the width of the strips, what was the size of your finished block? Your quilt looks great!

I like the setting triangles on the left. My eyes go directly to the center of the quilt when I focus on the left triangles. My eyes focus more on the triangles when I look at the right ones.
That's going to be a beautiful quilt no matter which way you decide. It does look like a sunrise. Thanks for sharing.

Joellyn, It's a great purple quilt, she''ll love it! But I feel the setting triangles are too similar in value to the rest of the fabric and need to be considerably lighter to really set it off. Great quilting, dear lady.
