Hi
I need help in making 2 twin quilts. My pastor embroidered 24 squares 18" and asked me if I could make them into 2 twin quilts. She wants them to go to the floor which is 25" from top of mattress to floor. She would also like a pillow tuck. I have been trying to figure out how to do this. Can anyone help me?

Thanks Dolores

I love making quilts - have finished about 40 of them for gifts to my grandchildren and friends. I quilt at church every week. also love to knit and cross-stitch.

Do you have a twin size bed? I would lay the embroidered blocks out on the bed & then you can see how wide you need to make sashings & borders to get the quilts the size required.

Or, get the measurements of the bed they will be used on & then map it out on paper.

Welcome from Southeastern, PA!

I would probably take the easy way out and piece each one with 2 block x 5 blocks down the center. I would put a 4" sashing in between. Then add a 25" drop on each side to make it come down to the floor as requested. That would make them approx. 90x103".
Welcome to the board.
