Default Help me decide on quilting thread

I'm quilting my red and white quilt. Almost done with the main part.
Thinking about the borders now. I quilted the main part in light grey.
Looks fine so far. So it was light grey all over the white and red and
over the HST's. Then I have a small white border then the big red
border. Should I just continue with the light grey or should I switch
to red thread for the red border?

    Either one would be fine.

I'll agree with sushi. You could go either way. Personally, I would stick with the light grey.

Either one would look nice. Personally, I'd go with the red. Red would really make the border pop. Grey would create a more all-over muted tone & add lots of unity through the quilting.

I'd probably stick with the gray. What color is the back?

The back has a white background with some black, grey, red and blue.

    Edited: failing memory ;-)

I'd go with the red for borders since it sounds like you are custom quilting

In the border if you don't want your quilting to show, then use a matching thread.
