Default Help me pick my next pattern

A while back I picked up a pattern that called for a jelly roll, a layer cake, and 4.5yds of background material. I got Moda's 30's Playtime jelly roll and layer cake, and some creamy off-white background material.

Only problem is now that I am open for my next project, I have fallen out of love with the pattern. I look at it now and wonder what the heck I was thinking. I love the 30's Playtime though, so I am hunting for a new pattern that will suit it. I have looked at lots so far, and none fit it quite right (although I now I have even more patterns on my to do list!)

Anybody know of any awesome patterns that use a jelly roll and a layer cake? Or perhaps one or the other?

Try a google for layer-cake and jelly roll patterns. Should be plenty. Also try missorie star they have plenty of yup tubes and tutorials using pre cuts.

Dresden plates.. the strips work perfect for those.. and the creamy background is a no brainer with the fabrics you have

Did you check out the Moda Bake Shop? Lots of patterns for precuts.

Good idea... but I remember a dresden quilt my grandmother made when I was a little girl, I think with my first dresden quilt I am going to try to recreate it and the colors are all wrong in the fabric I have.

Isn't it? I have a great big FQ bundle and I'm considering cutting my own squares & strips to make it. Really cute!
