Unhappy Help! Need pattern inspiration for 8 batiks

I got 2 yards each of 8 batiks - 4 in the blue green family and 4 in the red pink family. I have been browsing all my refernce books and magazines to find a pattern I like but no luck so far. I am going to look at cat on a mac's gallery but thought I would ask for ideas as well. I thought of a Hawaiian but it doesn't seem to fit. Considering Cathedral Windows or 10 minute block but not thrilled by either. Don't want to do a double wedding ring either! HELP!!

I would use the fabric to make a Bergello quilt. You could arrange the colours dark going to light to give a colour wash effect. Good luck with it.

I just finished a quilt called Cosmic Jewel from Keepsake Quilting. Uses 8 diffirent colors and then background. All batiks. I used jewel tones on black background and it turned out gorgeous. My SIL showed me the pattern, she's made it at least 3 times and it turns out gorgeous everytime. All hst's and easy and fast to go together.

Oh my, I have seen some of your beauties, I can hardly imagine you needing inspiration ;-) I'll keep an open eye in my internet travels today.

I have been playing with the idea of Lady of the Lake for my batiks, using lights on one side and darks on the other.

I would probably do the Crown Jewel from Keepsake Quilting....it's very pretty and should showcase your batiks very well. Good luck!

I've been making different drunkard's path patterns using batik fabrics and have been pleased with the result.
