Default Help please, does anyone else do this?

I saved a tutorial but now I can't find it. Is this a problem for anybody else. There was a tut. in the past couple of months about sewing a backing on where the backing was cut bigger than the quilt. They were sewed right sides together with an opening left at the top to turn and part of the backing made the boarder.. I remember that part but can't remember how the corners were eventually done to square up. If anyone remembes or saved this tut please send me the link as I'm doing a quick quilt for a friend who is in the hospital and this looks to be an easy way to finish it up.

you said you saved it? did you comment on it? if so --if you click on the link above that says 'quick links' you will find a list of all the topics you have *subscribed* to (commented on) the original post will be on the list.

Do a search on the word "birthing". I think I saw the thread and this should bring it up for you.

I remember a table runner that used that method. I think it was called the 10 minute table runner and the ends were finished as triangles? I did not see the quilt done that way, sorry.

here is a you tube video for a self binding baby quilt by Missouri Quilt Company. I'm sure it could be adapted to any size quilt.

the TUTE she is looking for is not for birthing..this is a different method of adding a border/binding all in one by using a larger backing.

it is possible you saved it, but that it was mentioned in a post with a different title!

you can't sew it together and then turn it....you have to layer it back/wrong side up....batting....and then top right side up...you do your quilting and then turn the backing over to the front for a "binding"...is this what you were looking for???
