Help Please
I just quilted this quilt that was pieced by my mother when I was a kid. My DB & SIL rescued it from the farm house I grew up in. As far as I can tell it's made from feed sack material. I want to label this quilt but I'm not sure of the time frame it was made. Can any of you recognize the fabrics and give an estimate as to when it was made? She hand & machine pieced it. She also had done a portion of it in a QAYG, but I had to take it out to get the top together. So, any help will be greatly appreciated as I want to give this to my older for his birthday in June.

I would need more details but it look like calicos in the 70s. Is that possible??? I would not myself be concern with a date. I would just hope you can get the quilt completed by your deadline. Good Luck. She is going to be overjoyed with your gift.

Yet another reason everyone should label all their quilts, so thanks for wanting to do so. Is there anyone left in your family that might remember her working on it?
You could also put a decade on it if you don't know the exact year. Pieced sometime in the 1970s, quilted 2014.
