I have a homemade quilting frame... rails are big enough for a queen sized quilt. I'm trying to put a king sized quilt on it. I thought I could fold the borders in on the edges but that makes it thicker there and it won't roll evenly. HELP   Have any of you tried to do this? Do you have any suggestions?? Thanks

That doesn't sound like a good idea, I don't think you will be happy with the end results  :D:D:D

you may have to resort to removing the borders and quilting them separately from the body of the quilt, then join them using a QAYG method.

If your quilt frame is homemade. Can you get longer rails to use in place of the queen size ones. Just a thought. Because I have a short frame and DH bought 2 8' closet rails to install on mine. Might take a little (jerry rigging) but might work for you.
