I have a friend who wants a double bed size quilt. I have avg. for twin, queen, and king. Does anyone know what is standard size for a double? Thanks all in advance.

I'm making a t shirt quilt & looked on etsy to see sizes. Most full are around 82x87.

Keep in mind how much fall you want on the sides and at the foot of the bed. Also, whether you want it to be tucked in around the pillows, as a bedspread.

I have a 110x110" that I use on my antique double with a footboard (if no footboard, would need it longer). Not all of mine are this large

And how high she has the bed..I have mine on two rows of drawers from a water bed my son lost in moving. Lost the water bag, that is, and gave me the bottom of it. It makes my mattress
higher than normal. Plus, I want my quilts to fold over the pillows and hang to the floor. So I would suggest you visit your friend and ask her some pointed questions, then go and measure it yourself.

We used to have an extra long double, there seem to be more and more differences in mattresses every time we checked them.
