I guess I forgot to tell the story of my machine. A lady who had cancer, ordered the machine, but never got a chance to use it. After she passed away, her daughter sold it at a yard sale because she doesn't sew. The machine is new and was still in the box and had never been used. I only sewed about 20 inches with it and it stopped. Just one of those quirky things that happen. But all is well.

Having a handy husband is a good thing. Once you get the machine up and running, you will love her. Janome's are wonderful machines. What was wrong with her?

It was a blown fuse in the machine. we ordered the fuse today, so should be up and running by the end of the week. Which is fine. I'm busy cutting out a Turning Twenties quilt in purples for my great niece.
