I just finished this quilt top and can not figure out what to do about the quilting. I only have a tabletop quilting machine but the feed dogs do drop so I have used it a few times. This is for my stepdaughters first baby so I think I want to hand quilt it but I don't know what would look best or pattern to use. Obvioulsy I am needing help...any suggestions?

Hmmm that one is tough one. I love how his name is in the border! Maybe just loops or meander on that one. Nice quilt.

I think I would go to Joann's and get one of the stencils for a large circle design to go in the middle of the solid area. They are easy to use if you get a water soluable pen to draw the design onto your fabric, then free motion quilt the design. Then I would sew up the center of the dark blue blocks. Once you get going it will all fall into place. It is a very pretty quilt!

Nice quilt. You have lots of space to show off your quilting....hand or machine. Maybe Large K and J's. subtle but a neat effect.

Thanks, I cut the 6" border 8" and had a girl with an embrodery machine to put the name on it. Then I cut it to 6 inches and added it to the quilt.

Gorgeous quilt! Love the name like that. Can't help you with the quilting, but I'm sure you'll find the right design.

I just finished one for my DGD, and did baby bottles, blocks, books, and pacifiers/rattles on it.
