How do I figure out how much fabric I need for a Warm Wishes if I enlarge it from a long double (82 1/2"x93 1/2") to a king (108"x107")?

It depends in which way you want to enlarge it. I added two more columns and 4 more rows. If I calculated correctly you would need 1/2 yard more of the strip fabrics/two outsides (2" x 37") , 27" more fabric of this strip fabric/middle (3" x 3") , the Squares A would need 1 1/3 yards more. These are pretty close measurements and I would probably purchase a bit more. I didn't figure out the borders.

Thanks! I knew I could count on someone!! I want to make a wedding present for my niece. Her intended is 6 ft x something. I'm sure they'll have a king size. I don't have to have it until next summer. whew!

Hopefully someone will tell us whether I figured it correctly. I would hate to misguide you.

No worries. I can do that all my myself! I think I've got it nailed. Just looking for fabric. She's a horse person, so I'm looking at Laurel Burch's grey and rust horses.
