Hi everyone. My name is Marie and I am new to quilting. One of the lady's in my quilting guild was asking for volunteers to sew together the front of one of the quilts for the "home of the Brave" organization.
I don't know if any of you have put one of these together but I am hoping one of you have.
I am having problems cornering up the blocks. When I sew them to the white background corners, if they line up, I get a bunching at the point where the points line up. Or the points come out way off.
I have attached a picture of what this quilt looks like finished. If anyone has any ideas that could help me, I would really apprciate it. I really want to do a good job on this.
Thanks Ladys
Marie.

What you might try for the first couple that you sew is to find the center of the square side and the center of the long edge of your triangle and pin from center out. This will show you where you need to begin sewing on the triangle.
