I live outside Houston. I hate driving in the traffic to get downtown and never do it.....except for the quilt show. If you take a class be sure and save lots of time (2 days) to see the quilt displays and all the vendors. We don't use valet parking but the garage right across the street because we often make trips to the car to unload our goodies and then go right back in. It is a blast especially if you go with quilty friends. If you change shoes in the middle of the day it helps. I hope you do come to our town for the quilt show and you enjoy your stay.
