This is definitely the best group of folks going! Although I agree with nanacc as well - quilters as a whole are a great group of people.

Hugs to Flona for her nice deeds. I also love this board and I would not still be quilting unless You girls had not taught me. When I first got on this board, I wrote everything down. I was looking at it a while back and smiled.

Love the quilt block, it's quite lovely.

It astonishes me how small this world is. My daughter and her husband are currently building a house in Townsville as a holiday retreat. I've seen the pics and it looks quite beautiful. I can't wait for my next trip down under since the house should be finished by then so I'm hoping for a trip to Queensland as well as WA.

What a thoughtful thread to start!!!!

I haven't been on here very long, but I too am very grateful for all the wonderful people I have met in such a short time.

I have NEVER not had a question answered, or a viable solution offered to my myriad of problems!!!!

A HUGE thank you to all you wonderful people on this forum!

I have to agree with everyone. I have made friends with three gals who live within an hour of me and come to my house for mini retreats. And someone always has a solution to your problem. And how many times have you read something, and then said Why didn't I think of that?

I too am grateful for all of the quilting board members. It is the best place to get quick answers. I don't post very often but I do read what other people ask and get my problems solved from their questions.
Flori, a beautiful quilt and a generous person.

I too met a quilter from this board and I was so lucky that she moved to be only a mile from my apt. We now go to the senior group of quilters every Wednesday.
