When using poly batting? I know, it should be stated on the wrapper. This isn't. It's Hobbs Poly-Dream, but it does not say how far one should quilt. I've used other poly but it seemed wiry. This is so silky feeling and soft. If anyone has used it, how far apart did you quilt? I have some 5" sq. that would look great not quilted, but want to be sure. Please and thank you. Marge L.

I couldn't find Hobb's Poly Dream Batting either but if it is as SueDor wrote you can quilt up to 4" apart.

But if it is Quilters Dream Poly Batting you can quilt up to 12" apart.

After looking for you all Quilters Dream Poly regardless of size of batt can be quilted 12" apart.

So I would re-check your package the batting came in to make sure exactly which name brand you purchased.

I am somewhat of a batting snob (sorry) and only use the Quilters Dream Batts (regardless of material) for numerous reasons. That said there are so many topics here on the board about batting and people love all brands of them. So it's truly a personal preference for everyone.

    Hope we have helped you....
