How Could I Be So Off on my Measurements??
#11
The laws of physics in my guest bedroom, where I measure for backing, are different than those in my sewing room. That's why my measurements never add up properly.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Here's a great tutorial for figuring the yardage for quilt backing.

There's a free class on Craftsy called Creative Quilt Backs. it's interesting and started me sketching out my quilt backs. I was amazed at the difference, looked good and I wasn't stressed out with it. It's worth a look.
