I recently went to Banner Elk, NC, recently for "Mountain Quilt Camp". They have one in spring and one in the fall. It was a nice retreat. Www.mountainquiltcamp.com, I think.

I don't know how far you would want to drive but I have been to 2 at the Yellowstone River Lodge west of Billings Mt. And they were really fun they both started at 1 PM on Fri. And ended on Sun the price was just over 200.00 dollars food and room included but you bring your own thing to sew then I went to Kansas for one at a place called Kansas Troubles it was also lots of fun a little more expensive but a kit was included

This is one of my concerns too. I am looking for another camp or retreat to attend.

    I usually go to http://www.pegspatches.com/TQC_home.html

If it is convenient....check Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Ripley Wv. There is one in October...or check on line at Pegspatches. Reasonable price, great group, lots of classes.

I usually do go to Quilt Camp by Pegs Patches. (Cedar Lakes ) I sure recommend this one!

I thought I would look for something different because there are few time conflicts this year.
