How do you stay motivated?

I am almost done with the Pink Ribbon quilt. I am sid-ing it then the binding. I have to say I really do like the binding part now. Boy things have changed since I first started quilting - I remember writing posts call things like "Binding is the devil". Now I love it!

When you are so close - how do you stay motivated - other then of course the satsifaction of having finished :)

Think about what you are going to make for your next project or projects, pat yourself on the back and repeat, I am almost finished, I am almost finished

I've lost so much of my motivation. SO MUCH. I wish I could find where I put it I know it's in my sewing room! But I've really lost it for now. I use to like sewing with friends & when we moved up here, I moved away from all my quilting friends. We use to have so much fun. I've been in this town for 11 yrs now & none of the people I have met have compared to my quilting friends back home. The ones that are 'motivated" or "inspiring" are too click-ish for me & refuse to let outsiders in. I went to this guild for maybe 3 yrs & still did not click with them. So I'm still looking for a good buddy to quilt with up this way. :thumbup:
