How much do you lose when squaring?

Great attitude moonhoney2! And even if they DID measure the blocks, how do THEY know what size block you were supposed to make?
I say it's all artistic license! :D

One thing I learned early on was to square all the blocks up at the same time. If you will be squaring at several steps in the process, wait until all your blocks are finished with that step before you square. Do that with each step and you'll have more assurance that they will all be the same size. After all, the final squared up size of each block really doesn't matter all that much as long as they are all square and all the same size when you go to put them together at the end. And you can always say you meant to make a lap quilt, not a bed quilt, right? :D I agree with the troops, your attitude is the best!
