Default how should I press the center

the directions say to press seams toward triangles.
My problem is what to do with the center of the seam, should I make a cut in the seam allowance or should I let it stay 'twisted '?
see attached picture
thank you

how did you do that? I would add one side of the triangle to one side of the pieced block- press toward triangle. then add second pieced block to other side of triangle and press toward triangle- the seams will lay flat.

I know that some people do clip into the seam allowances but I am not comfortable doing it. I think I would press the one side of the block seam towards the block, instead of the triangle on every other block.

I should add, that it is less bulky when pressed toward light triangle. There will be sashing added on both sides.
