Thanks everyone for you advice on this, and thank you ranger this really gave me ideas for the next panel quilt I have to do, it is the same panel as this one..thank you thank you..

I agree with STID the pink and red borders, outline the girls and other things in the panel and then stipple the rest of quilt. This will also give a great look to the backside.

I made a quilt last year with this same panel and I stippled all over it turned out fine.
