HQ Sixteen sit-down version
#1
Anybody out there using the HQ Sixteen sit-down version for FMQ? I'm considering it rather than a mid-arm frame, because it will take up much less space in my sewing room, but still give me the additional throat area to quilt larger quilts. I'd sure like some feedback - looks like a great machine from the videos on the web site. Thanks - I LOVE having so many quilters to bounce things off of and get info from :-)

I have it and love it! As a matter of fact, I was quilting on it most of the day today! Gotta get my 4 graduation quilts done.
I purchased it at the Houston
Quilt show about 5 yrs ago.

That will be my next big purchase--a few years down the line. I have watched several videos where it is used and it looks like a great machine.
Have fun with it and send some pics of work done on it.

I've had mine since last November and I love it. I have replied to several of the previous threads, so perhaps you can do a search and see what I and others wrote.
I've never regretted spending the cash, and I had no room for a large set up, and I'm not fit enough to stand, so this was ideal for me.
