Default Peaky and Spike?

I was just thinking about Doreen Speckman & "Peaky & Spike" earlier today. Has anyone made any of those quilts? I used the "search" here on the board but nothing came up. I'm just curious...

No I have never made any but I remember seeing her on tv. I'm not sure if it was with Alex Anderson or Carol Duvall. She was great!

funny you should mention Peaky and Spike. That phrase ran through my mind yesterday. I was looking at hedgehogs ;-)

I saw her a lot years ago on Alex Anderson's show. I thought she was fun to watch!

I bought her book, DS Travels with Peaky and Spike. I loved her and remember seeing her on Simply Quilts. Now you've piqued my interest. I think I'll pull the book off the shelf and browse through it tonight.

I had hoped to go on a cruise with her ... then she died! sigh.

Now there is the Quilt in a Day ruler: Triangle in a Square ruler, that has a Shining Star quilt directions with it on the outside of the packet. I think that is the same thing, though have never gone back to measure.

I have a set of the Peaky and Spike templates that I bought off E-Bay when I first started quilting. I've never used them. Don't know that I ever will. I really need to get rid of some of the stuff that I just "had to have" when I first started quilting. Sigh.
