That is a great vow. I do some quilts every year now for Quilts for kids and we have made some small blankets for the cats at our local shelter and we are going to start making some for the dogs. We had to find out what size to make them first. It is very good to give. :)

I am with you on sharing blessings and our talents. My goal was to make 1 per month last Fall for Quilts for Kids. but fell short on that. I have made a couple already this year, Im trying to make up for lost time. I also made a quilt for my church, but forgot about that so I guess I am not so short of my goal.

I make quite a few children's quilts for charity. It's a great way to play around with blocks or just make something quick and easy. The colors for these always make me smile. It's also a nice way to practice your free motion. My first free motion flowers and hearts were on charity quilts. Just don't let yourself feel pressure. I got involved in a contest and was overwhelmed. When it was finally over, I didn't quilt for weeks, just had no desire. So take it easy on yourself and sew what you feel like. You'll feel good about it.

Its a great way to practice free motion. I quilt at least 8/10 a year for camp erin. I have made several but I along with other la's in the area quilt the tops that generous people like you all have donated to camp erin and project linus. We all also give our time to The police fire company womens housing quilt pink and quilts of valor. So, I thank you for making the tops. It even better when you guys have done it all.
