You make me feel better about my other recent purchases! Newly discovered fabriholism is a killer, which is why I needed a strict budget suddenly.

Onebyone, I have to wonder if your quilt shop is more than doubling its wholesale price. (I used to buy wholesale). Or maybe you saw some deal they'd gotten.

I would probably go insane and buy a ton. One of the LQS is going out of business. I have been there a couple of times. When the discount is higher I will go back and go crazy.

Honestly, I wish I'd adopted that idea more. I am more regretful of the things I passed up and THRILLED with the things I bought.

Two years ago an on line store I used to purchase from went out of business and I bought 5 mystery packs of fabric, 10 one yard cuts for $20. I was very pleased with them. There were some repeats, and some of the fabrics were colors or prints that I wouldn't have thought of buying if I'd had a choice, but all of it was top quality and my stash is better for having bought it. I kind of wish I had bought more.
