I caught the fever and bought a vintage singer
#1
I found a vintage machine today and could not walk away, she was pretty. I have no idea what it is but am guessing its a singer 99?? The case is in good shape, there are no attatchments at all, gonna have to find some, after I know what to look for, it runs, it has a shuttle type bobbin, but I will need extras, will need instructions, The part I don't like is the motor and light are not a match for the machine, would like to change them but don't know where to start. This was am impulse buy, whichn I never do but was $20.00 and I just couldn't leave without it. Some of you girls in the know will guild me I hope.

Congrats!! Your machine isn't a Singer 99, but either a Singer 127 or 128. If your bed is full size, 14-15 inch, then you have the 127. IF your bed is smaller, 12-13 inch, then you have a 128.
Enjoy! And please post your first project at the quilts made with vintage machines thread. Looking forward to seeing your first project!
