Default Yo-yo maker

Although I do not use yo-yos in quilting, I always wanted to make those yo-yo toys. On a recent Shop Hop I picked up one of the Clover yo-yo makers and I got so addicted that I ordered two more sizes. They are so easy to use, yo-yos are always perfect and always the same size. I turned one entire box of scraps into yo-yos in no time while watching TV with my kids. Yo-yo toys here I come! If you make quilts out of yo-yos this is a must have accessory. The sizes are a bit missleading since there is no medium, but they come in Jumbo 3 1/2", XL 2 3/8", L 1 3/4", S 1 1/4 and XS 3/4. I have XL, L and S.

I love them too! I made a 4th of July handbag out of red white and blue ones in the pattern of a flag. It was really cute! I purchased 200- 5" precut squares off of ebay a couple of years ago, mixed colors & patterns. I have them in a basket with my yo yo maker, thread & scissors. I have it sitting by my couch so if I'm bored watching tv, I'll make some. I also grab this basket sometimes when we are traveling so I will have something to do in the car. I don't know what I will do with all of them, but when I figure it out, I will have oodles of yo-yo's already made!

I bought one of Clover's small flower-shaped yoyo makers to use in making flowers for my Baltimore Album quilt -- It was a good buy -- one of these days the entire quilt will be completed!

I started this YoYo quilt a few years ago and only worked on it in between many, many other projects. IT is done now and I love it.

I know how you feel about making Yo yo's. I didn't use a yo yo maker tho.
