I bought one a few months ago I'm making a Christmas garland for my sister's tree, she lives in the woods and has a rustic themed tree. I think it will look great.

I use the jumbo oval one to make great flower petals and leaves.

Gosh that's beautiful. Is there fabric backing it, or are they just sewn together?

I know how you feel about making Yo yo's. I didn't use a yo yo maker tho.

I've been thinking about getting the largest yo-yo maker so I could do this to the Dresden Plates I have waiting for centers. I love the way yours turned out! I'm also happy to hear that y'all like the yo-yo makers so I'll go ahead & buy one with my Hancock's coupon!

I picked up the heart yo yo maker but I haven't tried it yet. Has anyone tried the heart and what besides embellishment could you use it for? I was thinking they would look sweet, kind of like prairie points along the edge of a baby quilt.

Thank you, here is a link http://mousechirpy-polkadotpineapple...-yo-yo-by.html to show you how to attach the Yo-yo by machine. I don't put the fibrefill in. The come out so much better when machined on and of course they are fixed well and truly on the quilt.

This quilt was QAYG so all the quilting etc. was complete on each block, so much easier. The Dresden pattern was from a friend and I have taught complete newbies how to make it, here is a link for the pattern: http://www.trulymaterialistic.zoomsh...xj/items/aiWy/ I made mine a bit different but I was pleased with the result, as was my Sister as I made it as a gift for her.

I love my yo-yo maker by Clover. I have all the round yo-yo makers. just bought the heart yo-yo maker. I want to try my hand at making a heart shaped yo-yo quilt.
