Sometimes, things that shouldn't work do. I had a client that had pressed her quilt with the Blue be Gone still on. YIKES! I tried soaking it overnight in a special wash for old linens and I was shocked and amazed that the blue be gone vanished.

We had someone at guild last night talking about quilt restoration. She has had some success removing the day where it bled with Ivory dish soap. I have never tried it.
