mix distilled white vinager to the first wash, when finished, wash again with detergent. Should work

If the garment is washable, add baking soda to the wash cycle. At the rinse cycle, add 2 cups white vinegar and allow to rotate several times to distribute the vinegar throughout, then stop and allow to soak for 2 or more hours. Run through a plain water rinse. Dry on the "fluff," or "air" setting with no heat (to maximize air exposure) and add a fabric softener sheet or two.

Borax in with your detergent and let it soak for a while after agitating for a minute.

I'd wash it with detergent and oxy clean, then dry with dryer sheet.

I got a bunch of stinky but good fabric from a friend and just hung it outside in a shady spot for a few days. Since it was summer in Florida they got rained on too, but I think that just helped them smell even fresher.
