I'm not sure why, but I have this fear of starting something new. I'm got a Honey Bun that I'm dying to use. I think I have a pattern picked, but I'm afraid to start. lol Not sure way, I don't recall having this problem before. I've been doing a lot of small PP projects to keep from having to do anything bigger.

I'm with Sue; but sometimes it's enough to say, I'll try one block! Once I have one block done I get over that bump.

I had two jelly rolls that I wanted to use to make a bargello quilt. Those sat on my sewing table for months. I was afraid to start it. What if I messed it up?????? sigh. I finally did start it. Scared to death I would mess it up. It's now on my bed and one of my favorite quilts. Just jump in a do it.

MommaDorian, tell us about the pattern you have chosen for your honey bun...sometimes talking about a project will seem more real and "doable"

I wanted to make my granddaughter a "hobo" type bag for Christmas last year in her favorite colors of green and black... It took me months to get up the nerve to start it! I finally told myself, I'll make it, if I don't like it, I won't give it to her. Well, then it took only 2 days to make! And she loves it!
