I ran up to Joann's to see what they had for purple fabric on clearance. The Joann's by me has a Husqvarna Viking dealer inside the store. They had there longarm machine up and they gave me a demo.

Talk about a nice machine! It's on sale for only $12,000! I'm taking up a collection!

Oh..... I would love one of those for Christmas too!!!!
I have been talking to DH for several years about getting one. It will be a while yet, we need a new car first!!!
I may have to wait until one of our parents pass (which I hope is not soon) before I can afford to by a long arm.

I have been thinking this for awhile and I am going to say it now. Do those machines really have to be so expensive. Geez I could buy a small car for the price of one of them!
Does it have everything you need? Stitch regulator, quilting frame and patterns to follow too? Or is all that extra?

I really would like at quality long arm machine but that is the price of a swimming pool or 6 trips down south for hubby and me... geewillikers!

Are you still looking for purples??? I did buy a yard and a half at Joann's yesterday and I might have some more if you still are needing some. This is a white with a dark lavendar curly-cue on it.

    Mamagus,
Everything was included, the frame, stitch regulator plus Q-bot. (It uses a SD card. I think it comes with 75 patterns and you were able to design your own and put it on the SD card.)
The lady was telling me that I should buy it and open my own business! haha (I wish)

It really would be a wonderful Christmas gift. And don't pooh pooh the business idea too quickly. In my area, there are more "piecers" than there are "quilters", so anyone with a longarm can be as busy as they wish. And as you know, it is rather dear to have someone else do your quilting for you.
