I've got a couple of books on fabricc folding. It too is waiting it's turn. It's looks hard and usually I only learn a new technique I can teach my students.

What a concept! Why didn't I think of that? lol

I have 7 machines. I use them all at different times, but it never occurred to me to set them up with different colors for thread painting. Too logical I guess! lol Thanks for the idea.

No particular method for me. I just find a quilt I would like to make, and if the technique is new, then I do it! I do like machine applique, and have a couple of projects in mind for it.

Tammy those are awesome. I love Drunkard's Path becasue it creates so many optical illusions although I hand piece my blocks (by preference since I like to have a hand project going during any of my big machine projects...)
