I was finishing up a tote bag I am making last night, I had the two front panels sewn and put together then the two pieces of lining, I used pellon fusible web, when I went to sew the two lining pieces together, it would not feed, and I thought it was because of the fusible web I literally had to pull from the back side so it would sew...I have never had this trouble in the past so could it be me missing something or could it be the webbing...I have three more totes to make and I do not want have to go thru that again, plus I feel like I am doing something wrong when I have to pull it thru...

    Thanks Kelley

Are you sure that you didn't accidentally drop the feed dog on your machine... Just wondering, because I have done that before and nothing would budge.

I always use the walking foot when making anything with layers or webbing.

I have the walking foot attached, and that was the first thing I checked, this fusible webbing after I ironed on the material felt like rubber, and I don't recall webbing feeling like that, I will go home tonight and try to figure what I am doing wrong....I hope I can continue to finish my tote bag...

I have made bags with the pellon and some of it is very hard to move around through the machine. I have several machines and had the problem with all of them. But not on all the bags, so don't know what's up with that!!

If the interfacing does have a rubbery surface, it might be sticking to the sewing surface. Try putting a piece of gift wrap tissue under the bag. You sew thru the tissue, then just tear it off. It makes the item slide a bit easier. Sometimes I use a piece on top too to keep it sticking to the foot.
