The paster has been hinting around about a quilt. At last I was able to get the fabric. USC trojans.Oh my, just 3 colors. What do I make that is fast and easy for next Sun. ?
Help....thank you, Marge

Their colors are cardinal and gold so I would suggest a quick Fence Rail, a 9 Patch or an 8 point star, including either black or white. You could crank it out in just an afternoon depending on the size of your quilt.
Good luck!
Jane
Even a large diamond quilt would be quick! (even though this is a picture of an afghan)

I made this one. Very easy. It's from Down the Rotary Road with Judy Hopkins, but would be easy to draft, and I can tell you measurements if you need. 3 "colors" plus white.

If you want a finished 8 inch block, you would cut your patches 4.5" square and an 8.5" square big block.
12" blocks would be 6.5" squares for the 4 patch blocks, 12.5" for the big block.
15 inch finished blocks, would be 8 inch 4 patch blocks, and a 15 1/2 inch big block.
Do a small "stopper" border, maybe 1 to 2", then add a larger border.
If you made the finished blocks 12 inches, then 4 wide would be 4 x 12 = 48", then add 2 inches for each side on the small first border, 48 + 2 + 2 = 52. Then a larger 6 inch final border (remember to cut as 6.5 inch) 52 + 6 +6 = 64".

I'm glad I had an idea you liked. And I agree with you...cutting the pieces will take the most time with this pattern. Please post a picture when you get it pieced or finished.
