sewing machine tote information

I own a Janome Memeory Craft 5,000,an older model but works fantastic.
I am looking to purchase some kind of "tote on wheels" for when I take my sewing machine to sewing classes.
Is there a one tote fits all sewing machines or do I need to purchase a tote for my individual make/model sewing machine?
I would also appreciate feedback on what you think is a good/bad tote on wheels ?
Thank you in advance
Linda

I would take measurements of the outter boundaries of your unit (width x depth x height) and take a small tape measure with you. I was under the impression that many totes are specific to certain machines, but I would see what is available to help save expense :)

The tote is pretty big and my standard size sewing machine fits in there fine with plenty of room for other things too....not sure how big or wide your machine is.

I went thru two machine totes and then I bought a Tutto. It is hands down the best machine tote. It has four wheels instead of just two and it rolls in any direction. It comes in at least three sizes and they list what machines fit.

I think the best tote you could buy would be a Tutto - I have the Tutto Office-on-Wheels and one trip through a trade show was enough to convince me. I never struggled with that bag, no matter how full and heavy it was. My luggage, yes, but the Tutto was effortless. In fact, in airports, I would stack everything else on top of the Tutto and breeze through.
If I needed a tote for a sewing machine, I don't think I'd settle for anything less - it's that much better than anything else out there.
It's very stable so it doesn't tip over no matter how tight a corner you're turning. You can pull it up up and down stairs without any trouble at all.
It has a very sturdy frame, so you could use it to sit on if you're in a crowded place that lacks chairs. (quilt shows, trade shows, etc) It has a U-shaped stiff handle, so you can steer it away from you or toward you.
The compartments are very handy and so is the access from the top and sides.
I probably sound like a salesman, but honestly, the thing really is all that. :)
